Exciting opportunity has arisen within Palmerston Veterinary Group for an experienced practice manager with strong leadership skills to drive our 3 site Hospital practice in Essex.

This role is a combination of effective management of the day to day running of a busy practice together with HR function, business development and enhancement of current client services. Palmerston Veterinary Group is a member of VetPartners which creates great opportunity for collaboration, career development and support.

This is a full time permanent position with a competitive salary dependent on experience. Key responsibilities:
· Strategic Management
· Personnel Management & HR
· General Practice Management
· Internal and External Communication

The ideal candidate must have:
· Confidence with all aspects of personnel management including; appraisals, staff motivation and leadership
· Some knowledge of HR policy
· Previous experience of running a practice would be desirable
· Strong communication and focus on delivering exceptional customer service
· Have proven success in business development and change management skills.
· Recognise the importance of financial drivers.
· Understanding the appropriate use of marketing, communications and PR to support local reputation and drive business.
