We require a Systems Manager

Location: Preferred Midlands but not essential

Package: up to £35k, 5 wks holiday

Vets4Pets offers vets and veterinary nurses the chance to own their own practice without many of the day-to-day worries of running a business. We are now arguably the fastest growing joint venture veterinary group in the UK, with over 50 practices and plans for significant future expansion. We’re looking for a highly motivated Systems Manager with user knowledge of a practice management system, the confidence to make the right commercial decisions around pricing and to effectively communicate with the practices. The role will centre around the maintenance of the system being the first point of contact for our partners, involvement in future PSM developments and making pricing decisions in conjunction with both our partners and our buying manager.

You will have a background in the industry, ideally a good knowledge of RX Works or another practice management system.

You will be used to making commercial decisions around pricing, always with the client in mind.

Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.

You will be a self-starter, able to manage projects to successful closure and work with minimal supervision.

You must be willing to travel although this will be minimal.

A flexible working week of 37.5 hrs will include some evenings and weekends.

An understanding of business economics and financials is essential.

Knowledge of veterinary terms and products is an essential requirement.

PRACTICE MANAGER/PARTNER:

We are a successful three vet small animal practice located on the outskirts of Leeds.

Continued growth of the core business means that we now need an experienced practice manager willing to buy into the practice.

This role is fundamental to the ongoing development of this profitable business and as Practice Manager you will work in conjunction with the existing partner.

You will be responsible for driving the financial and service levels of the practice, the management of staff and implementation of the strategic plan of the business.

The post requires management experience and previous veterinary experience would be desirable. Applicants should be able to take responsibility for any area of practice management in conjunction with the partner as required. Experience in HR, IT, H&S, client care, stock management, marketing and knowledge of relevant statutory and ethical issues are essential.

Veterinary Managing Director. £50,000.00 +
