About the CVPM
The Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management (CVPM) is awarded by the VPMA to individuals who have demonstrated their ability to effectively manage a veterinary practice, hospital or unit. The individual must demonstrate this ability by providing evidence of their managerial skills over six core areas:–- General Management
- Personnel
- Communication
- Financial Management
- Marketing
- Strategic Management
From 2010 and in line with work carried out by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in creating the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) the CVPM was made available to a greater number of candidates through the accredited qualification route. The improved system offers more wide ranging options that are sustainable for the future and provide:-
- expanded qualification options and entry routes for candidates all over the country
- a course for candidates to follow in place of free study
- delivery through educational establishment and home based study options
- improved validation of the CVPM examination entry routes
- a broader management qualification
CVPM Exam Date
30th November 2012, MIC London
